Shipping Services/Guidelines

Central Warehouse is a pick-up point for several carriers including Federal Express, UPS, and DHL.  Shipping items must be properly packaged, addressed, labeled with the carrier specific label. If required, the shipment must also include the air bill.  FedEx and UPS packages dropped off to Central Stores by 2:30 pm are generally picked up that day.

For questions about shipments to be received by Central Stores, call 860-486-6297. Please provide the following: tracking number, purchase order number, vendor, carrier (if known), and tentative delivery date.  For questions pertaining to shipping items, please contact the carrier directly.

Request Shipment Pickup

Beginning 1 September, 2019, pickup of packages or envelopes to be shipped out can be requested using the warehouse move form for a fee.  All packages must be properly labeled with carrier specific shipping labels prior to warehouse pickup.  Customers are welcome to bring packages to the Central Warehouse for carrier pickup or schedule pickup directly with the carrier at no charge.
